Welcome to a new world you must know after we survive the COVID-19 pandemic.
I found this thought-provoking article from "Forbes" late Monday afternoon (11 May 2020). Suzy Taherian's article is both fascinating and disturbing.
In her article Ms. Taherian outlines what she believes our new "normal" will look like once we survive the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here are the changes Ms. Taherian believes lie ahead for most of us:
Supply chains will be local not global.
Shop, work, and living online will be the norm. Those without internet or social connections will be left in the cold.
The Digital Divide will become a chasm.
Home and national bias will increase dramatically.
Healthcare for all will become a more standard view.
Unemployment benefits will be extended to more of the world's population as jobs dry up or are automated.
Loss of trust will take time to recover.
Insurance and risk management will take center stage.
One thing that Ms. Taherian doesn't predict is the gradual shift in the world's political and economic power from the United States and the European Community to the People's Republic of China and other Asian nations. The influence of the U.S. will wane as other more aggressive nations work to fill the vacuum left by the departure of the U.S. from the international stage.
The world after COVID-19 will be unpleasant, challenging, and difficult for many of us. Please stay safe and healthy.
Thanks for joining us today.
